The Sydney Rope Dojo≠® began in November 2011 as a weekly class run by Hebari in his lounge room in Annandale Sydney. Soon with the help of Zero and Avalon the classes developed with regular students and international guests. In October 2012 Hebari secured a 300 sq/m warehouse space in Leichhardt as the new home of both the dojo and it’s teachers.

Each October long weekend, the dojo also hosts the Sydney Rope Festival, an international event dedicated to Japanese rope bondage.
