The new dojo is located at 30B Ashmore st, Erskineville not far from the station, the entrance is through the large gate just buzz to be let in.

I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone at the new space :)

Milla Reika Master Class

Ligature Logo-R1-018Trained in Japan, Mistress Milla Reika is highly reputed for her skill and flair in art of Japanese Rope Bondage (Kinbaku). Her performances possess an exotic mix Oriental and Western styles and influences, fueled by her own desire to visually express the dynamics and beauty of human interconnection.

Milla’s entry to the world of SM and Kinbaku began after moving to Japan in 2011 where she began working as a Pro-Domme while gradually building her career on-stage. Currently she runs regular SM events alongside private sessions in Osaka alongside performing and teaching throughout Japan and internationally. As you can see from these images, and her Vimeo channel here:

Yukimura in Sydney

instructors BannerWe are very lucky to have secured Yukimura Haruki for 4 days of classes in mid March before he flies down to Melbourne. This is also the first time Sydney and Melbourne rope dojos have teamed up to bring one of Japan’s most famous Nawashi to the country, hopefully it will be the first of many.

Yukimura sensei is a very inspiring man, in his mid eighties, he has seen the progression of Shibari for some of it’s earliest beginnings and in that time he has developed his own sensual style of rope he calls Nawaza or the caressing style.

Shibari is often referred to as a sensual and connective art, Yukimura’s style of tying embodies that exact concept, with a strong focus on body language and feel. Tickets will be available soon.

Dates:
15th – 18th March 2014

Cost:
$300 Individual day
$500 Two days

Tickets can be purchased here
